Ice and flame
This is the most extreme experience you can have in a hot room. This procedure can be performed both independently and as an addition to any of the sets of procedures. The core of the process is alternating hot and ice-cold compresses which are accompanied by massage and soft kneading techniques.
The mixture of extreme states creates a feeling of delight in the entire body and contributes to the achievement of a unique psychological state.
The procedure can be good for relieving psychological stress, increasing vitality, and increasing immunity.
This procedure is not recommended for beginners. If this is your first experience, then it is better to ask the attendant to introduce individual elements of contrast into other sets of procedures.
We are still looking for a location with a sauna. Sauna ceremonies and hot-leaves treatments were the heart of Hot Rock Spa, and we haven’t given up on them — we hope, and quietly dream, of bringing real sauna services back to Ottawa one day.
