Sauna Treatments are one of the most pleasant, healthy, and amazing procedures that you may experience. It can be described as a complex manipulation with leafy branches, hot air, steam, and ice. The purpose is deep and comfortable heating of the body and gentle skin cleansing, stress and pain relief.

What is the Hot Leaves Treatment?

We’ve been providing spa services in Ontario for 15 years now, but we still haven’t invented a clear explanation for Hot Leaf Therapy or “Loyly” ritual. We tried our best, with both short and long explanations, serious and humorous, with an emphasis on sensory experience and on health benefits. We tried, but Loyly is such a rich and multifaceted experience that it’s hard to put into words. The best we can do is refer you to our guest reviews which say all there is to say.

Tonight I had the most wonderful evening at the Hot Rock Spa! The magical spa setting located in the picturesque snow top trees provides a relaxing and rejuvenating escape away from the city. I had the hot leaves treatment (called Venik) in the sauna by Melisa that was like no other spa treatment I’ve ever had before! She is super skilled at her craft and she delivers the leaf treatment with a rhythm and pressure that is like a perfect meditation practice and feels like an out of body experience! Five star review for Melisa and I can’t wait to book my next session! 🥰 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a beautiful little secret escape! If you truly love a sauna "experience", this is it. I went for the 3 hour women only package, and experienced the sauna, aromatherapy, leaf treatment and opted for a massage afterward. The setting is calm and perfect to share with only a handful of guests. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable in their treatments and exude the relaxed sense that embraces the property. Expect a rugged, natural setting nestled atop the Carp ridge.

Had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday with the girls. The place was decorated with the balloons and flowers. First we had three group sessions including oil infusion. Alex (the owner) gave us great presentation about the sauna and all the benefits for your body and soul. Then everyone loved the individual hot leaves treatment even those who never experienced it before. After there is a big gazebo where you may have a dinner with barbecue to celebrate. Highly recommend the place.

I had my big round birthday party in this lovely place. It is a very comfortable and private place, different from your regular Nordic spas. Here you are the centre of attention and the place is all to yourself. Services are perfect. Leaf massage ... Well, if you tried , you will get back. If you didn't, come and try. Real "Banya" experience.The whole visit feels like constant ritual. Time flows differently. And a little feature in the hot sauna that allows you to breathe fresh air while being massaged is a super solution I've never seen before.I recommend the place.

My husband and I spent a blissful rainy fall afternoon here celebrating my birthday. We've been to many spas and both loved how intimate, rustic and serene Hot Rock Carp was. The private, individual service was wonderful and the sauna (especially the leaf treatment at the end) literally melted away the serious muscle tension we were both holding. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. We'll be back!
