Alex, DOMP — Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a hands-on bodywork professional for over 20 years. Before opening this practice I founded and ran two Ottawa-area spas — Hot Rock Spa (Carp) and Löyly Spa (North Gower). Those years taught me how a body lets go. Osteopathy taught me what to do once it does. My story & credentials →
These kind words come from guests of our founder's Ottawa-area spas over the years. The setting has changed — the same standard of care continues here at ALX.
“Everything was simply top-notch. Alex greeted me with the warmest smile and guided me through the whole experience. After a traditional steam session, I had a session with Alex as an osteopath — truly next-level manual therapy. My neck had been bothering me, and I left feeling incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated.”

Read on Google ↗It's a systems approach to the body. Osteopathy treats the whole body as one interconnected system — tissues, fluids and energy working together. It draws on many techniques, from traditional massage through to gentle osteo-cranial correction. It feels good, and it works. Most of all it's about interaction — synergy: hard to explain in words, easy to show with hands.
That's why my sessions feel like a relaxation massage — warm, calm, unhurried hands-on work — but work like a treatment: they ease the tension you feel and gently correct the cause underneath it, so it's less likely to return. Relaxation isn't the goal here — it's the doorway. More about osteopathy, in plain language →
