Pay If You Like

Really Hot (but still innocent) Spa Massage

” Anything in life that’s any fun is either immoral, illegal, or fattening” This saying is often attributed to Alexander Woollcott, but we should query whether he knew anything about the Traditional sauna massage. Sauna Treatments are one of the most pleasant, healthy, and amazing procedures you may experience. It can be described as a complex manipulation with leafy branches, hot air, steam, and ice. The purpose is deep and comfortable heating of the body and gentle skin cleansing plus stress and pain relief. The average duration of each procedure in the hot room is 7-10 minutes, warm procedures – 10-15 minutes, and post-sauna procedure – 30 minutes. Relaxation breaks between treatments are 10-15 minutes in length.

You pay only if you like it.

August 2022 Special.

Steam Room Treatments are a new service for Canada. We receive hundreds of requests to explain the procedure’s essence and to help choose the best option. We are doing our best to provide a comprehensive description with words, pictures, and video footage. But it is almost impossible to express all overwhelming excitement and deep satisfaction.
If it were a new meal, we could offer to try a small piece to get you an idea of its delicious taste. Unfortunately, you should exercise all canonical steps in the sauna to get the full effect.
We understand your concerns – nobody wants to buy the pig in the poke, so we offer a risk-free option. You rent the sauna ($240 for 3 hours, up to 2 persons) and receive four steam room treatments ( 3 common and one individual). You pay for all steam room treatments ($159) just if you really enjoy them.
The cherry on the cake – is the 30-minute skin moisturizing massage, which you can add only for $30 per person.

We are still looking for a location with a sauna. Sauna ceremonies and hot-leaves treatments were the heart of Hot Rock Spa, and we haven’t given up on them — we hope, and quietly dream, of bringing real sauna services back to Ottawa one day. Know a property that could host a sauna? Tell us about it.
