Former service. This page describes a service of Hot Rock Spa (Carp) that we no longer offer — it’s kept here for reference. ALX Massage & Bodywork is now a massage & osteopathy studio at 1415 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa. See our current massage menu or all former services.

Sauna Rental

All premises are yours to use for 3 hours. The Sauna Attendant preheats the steam room for the first group of the day, but you are responsible for maintaining the fire, using the rooms, and cleaning them after visiting.

You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks, but we ask that you please clean up your garbage.

PRIVATE SAUNA RENTAL AVAILABLE FOR RETURNING GUESTS ONLY as the Special Offer.

If you have visited our spa before and want to try unserviced rental, we kindly request you to send us a request via email at info@spacarp.ca. Please include your name and the approximate date of your previous visit. Alternatively, you may provide us with the name or email of the person under whose name the reservation was completed.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to providing you with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience at Spa Carp.

If you have the Gift Certificate for this particular package, please email us to make the reservation and redeem the gift certificate.

Facilities and equipment:

I’m a returning user and I want to book the private sauna rental.

We are still looking for a location with a sauna. Sauna ceremonies and hot-leaves treatments were the heart of Hot Rock Spa, and we haven’t given up on them — we hope, and quietly dream, of bringing real sauna services back to Ottawa one day. Know a property that could host a sauna? Tell us about it.
